industrymetallurgyCM-0case study
Metallurgical production is one of the most challenging environments for finishing materials. High temperatures, metallic dust, and aggressive vapours require special solutions.
Challenges of Industrial Environment
At the metallurgical plant, we encountered a complex set of factors that significantly complicate material selection:
- Temperature fluctuations — from -20°C in winter to +50°C in summer near hot shops
- Metallic dust — requires easy surface cleaning
- Vibrations — from heavy equipment operation
- Elevated fire safety requirements — CM-0 class is mandatory
Technical Solution
For this project, we used GYPSUN Industrial panels with enhanced protective coating. Special antistatic treatment prevents dust accumulation on the surface.
Material Characteristics:
| Parameter | Value |
|---|---|
| Temperature range | -40°C to +80°C |
| Fire resistance class | CM-0 |
| Antistatic coating | Yes |
| Vibration resistance | High |
After two years of operation, the panels retain their original appearance, despite challenging conditions. The customer continued cooperation for facing other premises.
